The Ernakulam District Collector, Mr A.P. Mohammed Haneesh, will inaugurate the new Alpha ENT Head and Neck Research Institute here on May 28. Treatments such as Micro ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, head and neck surgery are available in the hospital, which has also a separate section for thyroid treatment.

Dr A. Noushad, Chief Physician of the Hospital, said that a charitable trust is also formed for providing treatment to poor patients and they can even avail themselves of expensive surgery at 20 per cent discount.
