Roadways Logistics - Financial Performance TCI Q4 net at Rs 3.98 cr Our Bureau
New Delhi , May 25 Transport Corporation of India (TCI) has reported a net profit of Rs 3.98 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2006 compared with Rs 1.96 crore in the same period last fiscal. Net sales for January-March touched Rs 245.5 crore. For the year ended March 2006, the net profit stood at Rs 16.03 crore, up 56 per cent over Rs 10.29 crore in the previous year, said a release. The net sales during the period in reference were pegged at Rs 864.10 crore against Rs 734.32 crore in the previous fiscal. The company is looking at a capital expenditure of Rs 400 crore over the next four years in areas such as warehousing supply chain solutions, IT systems and shipping.
