The City Mayor, Mr Jayan Babu, inaugurated Union Bank of India's new branch at Peroorkada here on Friday. The new branch, the bank's 2088th, will be run in the anywhere, anytime mode and will feature e-banking facility as well, a bank spokesman said. Two on-site ATMs at Peroorkada and Pattom were also opened on Friday. Mr R. Viswanathan, General Manager (Southern region), and Mr K. R.
