RBD palmolein rules weak

Mumbai , June 7

RBD palmolein and crude soya oil ruled weak on the edible oil market on Wednesday on lack of continued buying interest. Imported crude soya oil was down Re 1 at Rs 381 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was up Re 1 at Rs 324 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 475 per 10 kg. Sunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 395 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was down Rs 4 at Rs 402 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed August contracts ended higher at Rs 1,545 per quintal, up by Rs 13 over previous day.

Sugar dips

Sugar spot prices moved down on the Vashi wholesale market on Wednesday on increased inflows against scattered buying.

Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 4 at Rs 1,900-1,926 per quintal over previous day while medium grade (M-30) was steady at Rs 1,920-1,985 per quintal.
