New Chairman for ALSTOM Projects

Mumbai, June 10

Mr Sunand Sharma, country President of ALSTOM India, has been appointed as the non-executive director on the board of ALSTOM Projects India Ltd (APIL) and subsequently elected as the Chairman. He has been closely associated with the power industry and has worked for several leading multinationals in very high and key positions engaged in business development. APIL is a subsidiary of ALSTOM France SA and has an order backlog of about Rs 1,600 crore, according to a statement put out by the company on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
