ICICI OneSource said it would be setting up outsourcing centres in Northern Ireland, creating around 1,000 jobs there over the next two years. The company did not say how much it would be investing. The project, supported by Invest Northern Ireland (INI) is expected to deliver over £28 million in wages and salaries to the local economy by 2008, Mr Ananda Mukerji, Managing Director and CEO, ICICI OneSource, said. "We see tremendous opportunities in providing the UK's leading companies with world-class business process management services and will be looking to grow our business rapidly in the coming years. Northern Ireland has a proven track record in providing a large pool of talented people and an extremely conducive business environment and we intend to leverage this to global advantage," he said.
