Vijaya Bank hands over complex

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Vijaya Bank has handed over the complex built by it to the Bangalore Police. The public sector bank constructed the complex to house the Vijayanagar Police Station in the city at a cost of Rs 32 lakh. The police station was formally handed over by the bank's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Prakash P. Mallya, to the police department on Tuesday. Vijaya Bank has been participating in the initiatives of improving the city by making financial contributions for developing traffic islands and traffic signals apart from assisting in improving civic amenities.
