New Delhi , June 16

The Union Cabinet on Friday gave its approval for the signing of the Air Services Agreement between India and Iceland. The agreement allows both the countries to designate as many airlines as they wish for operating flights between India and Iceland. The agreement allows the designated airlines of both countries to operate flights to two cities in either country. Similarly, the designated airlines have been allowed to stop at any two intermediate points while operating flights to Iceland and also continue the flight onwards to another destination from Iceland.
