Hyderabad, June 20

Mr K Rosaiah, Minister for Health and Finance, Andhra Pradesh, has inaugurated a modern computer navigated open platform for joint replacements at Yashoda Hospital's Secunderabad unit. Dr Akhil Dadi, a specialist in navigation surgery, said the navigation system was supported by three camera eyes worked in tandem like a network of satellites to offer GPS (geographical positioning system) solutions. Mr G. Ravender Rao, Managing Director, said this system could also be used for spinal, neuro, ENT and trauma cases.
