RBD palmolein moves higher

Mumbai , June 23

RBD palmolein moved up, while crude soya oil prices were weak on the local edible oil market on Friday on stray buyingSunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 397 per 10 kg. Imported crude soya oil was down Re 1 at Rs 370 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was up Rs 4 at Rs 400 per 10 kg.

Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 485 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 324 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed August contracts ended lower Rs 17 at Rs 1,489 per quintal over previous day.

Sugar dips further

Sugar spot prices fell further on the wholesale market on Friday in the absence of fresh buying from retailers.

Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 30 at Rs 1,830-1,870 a quintal, while medium grade (M-30) was down Rs 10 at Rs 1,855-1,930.
