Faster network expansion on the cards

Madurai , June 28

The `cell sites' will be scaled up to over 4,500 from 2,400 at the end of March, covering about 800 towns and 15,000 villages in the State, said the Chief Executive Officer (Mobility), Bharti Airtel Ltd - Tamil Nadu, Mr P. Swaminathan, while announcing the new network expansion plans here on Wednesday.
