Dr K.R. Vijayakumar, Director (Training), Rubber Board, has been selected to the international publication Journal of Rubber Research published by the Malaysian Rubber Board for five years. Dr Vijayakumar is the second Indian to be selected to the editorial board of the publication started in 1929.

He is also the Liaison Officer of the International Rubber Research and Development Board for co-ordinating research by member countries in the field of latex harvest technology.
