Our Bureau

Hyderabad , July 10

Satyam Computer Services Ltd has formed an alliance with EpiServer, a Swedish content management and portal software company.

EpiServer is a provider of .NET-based content management applications and is the creator of EpiServer, a product numerous corporations rely upon as a platform for Internet, intranet and extranet content solutions.

The partnership will enhance Satyam's ability to implement and provide training services for EpiServer-based solutions, and EpiServer will benefit from the company's global presence and implementation expertise.

Broaden reach

Additionally, the arrangement will help broaden customer reach.

Mr G.B. Prabhat, Director of Consulting and Enterprise Solutions, Satyam, in a statement said: "We see a growing need in the marketplace for simple, easy-to-use readily deployable enterprise content and portal management systems."

This alliance will enable Satyam to garner clients by combining its consulting and delivery capabilities with EpiServer exceptional reputation and market presence in the Nordic countries, he added.

To date, there have been more than 2,000 implementations of EpiServer, mostly in Northern Europe.

EpiServer is counting on the alliance to increase that number significantly on a global scale, the statement said.
