L.N. Mittal to seek reappointment at ICICI Bank

Mumbai , July 10

Mr L.N. Mittal, Chairman and CEO of Mittal Steel, is among the Directors of ICICI Bank who would be seeking reappointment at the bank's AGM on July 22.Mr Mittal, first appointed on the ICICI Bank board in May 2002, retires by rotation this year. According to the notice to shareholders, Mr Mittal has offered himself for re-appointment as Director.

Mr Mittal holds 31.10 lakh shares of ICICI Bank as on May 31, 2006. Last year, Mr Mittal attended three board meetings and participated in two through tele-conference.

Other Directors seeking reappointment include Mr P.N. Sinha, Mr V. Prem Watsa and Ms Lalita D. Gupte.
