Visakhapatnam , July 10

The Central Bank of India Employees' Association, the Central Bank Officers' Union and the Central Bank of India Employees' Union have decided to go on strike on Tuesday in protest against "unilateralism and growing attacks on trade unions by the management."

Demands

The main demands of the employees include restoration of bilateralism in resolving issues, stoppage of unilateral transfers of the union office-bearers and speedy settlement of retirement dues.

The unions will meet in Mumbai on July 13 to discuss the future course of action, according to a press release issued here on Monday.
