Indo Asian enters Sri Lankan market

Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd, an electrical switchgear and lighting equipment manufacturer, has launched its products in Sri Lanka following a joint venture with the Nawaloka Group.

The Sri Lankan group has formed a new firm, Meyra Trading Company Ltd, to promote Indo Asian products. Recently Indo Asian tied up with Nepal's Golchaa Industries for the distribution of its products. Apart from the neighbouring countries, the company is looking at West Asia as a major emerging market. Last fiscal, the company reported sales of Rs 156 crore.
