BEML bags Rs 42-cr orders

Bangalore, July 13

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) said it has bagged orders worth Rs 42 crore from Tunisia and Syria for the supply of mining equipment and spares. BEML won the orders in international competitive bids. The Rs 2200-crore defence PSU would supply 85-tonne rear dump trucks and motor graders to Tunisian firm CPG and Syria's Gecopham for their opencast mines and rock-phosphate projects.
