Madhucon net increases 163 pc

Madhucon projects Ltd has recorded a net profit of Rs 9.1 crore on a turnover of Rs 113.05 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, registering a growth of 163 per cent over the net profit of Rs 3.46 crore and 85 per cent in turnover of Rs 61.03 crore, respectively for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The company's order book position shows a healthy Rs 5,000-crore worth projects. These cover national highways, roll roads, irrigation projects, flyover, residential-cum-commerical projects and railway projects. The infrastructure major's net worth has increased to over Rs 411.23 crore (Rs 105.65 crore) , which is a growth of 289 per cent, according to a press release here on Saturday.
