Karnataka Govt plans Bangalore Nano

The Karnataka government proposes to organise an annual event in the nano technology area called Bangalore Nano, on the lines of events like BangaloreIT.in and Bangalore Bio. The maiden two-day event is likely to be held in early December or January, said Mr Anup K. Pujari, Karnataka's Principal Secretary for Information Technology. Through this event, the State seeks to bring together all the stakeholders on a single platform, he said. Bangalore Nano would have two components - academic, where the focus would be on education and sharing knowledge and exhibition, where the benefits of nano technology would be showcased, Mr Pujari said adding the dates for the event would be announced soon.
