Electronics and home appliances major Videocon Industries has launched here a DTH DVD player, hoping to increase its market share in the organised DVD market.

The new model is priced at Rs 5,190. "It includes a set-top box that allows the users to access the direct-to-home services which is offering a basket of TV channels," Mr Jyoti Shekhar, Vice-President (Sales and Marketing), said.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday after launching the product, he said the product has features such as MP3, CD, VCD, Kodak/JPEG picture viewer and FM channels.
