Non-food credit up Rs 13,712 cr

Gross bank credit increased by Rs 11,833 crore and stood at Rs 15,56,917 crore for the fortnight ended July 28, according to the Reserve Bank of India's Weekly Statistical Supplement.

The gross bank credit was inclusive of food credit, which decreased by Rs 1,879 crore to touch Rs 36,076 crore and non-food credit, which has increased by Rs 13,712 crore to Rs 15,20,841 crore.
