Varun Shipping recommends issue of securities

Mumbai , Aug. 14

The board of directors of Varun Shipping, which met on Monday, has recommended issue of various securities through domestic and international offerings up to an amount of Rs 2,500 crore.

The board also recommended an increase in the limit of investment by the SEBI-registered FIIs and its sub-accounts in the company up to 49 per cent.

Another recommendation was delisting of equity shares from the Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Delhi stock exchanges.
