BEGINNING TO RISE: Eggs being stacked in a godown at Kochi. Egg exports are set to resume, especially to the Gulf countries, after the Union Government declared that the country was free from avian influenza. After the declaration, the farmgate price of an egg has increased by five paise to Rs 1.22.
