New premises of Lalgudi branch of IOB inaugurated

The Executive Director of Indian Overseas Bank, Mr A.V. Dugade, recently inaugurated the new premises of the Lalgudi branch of the bank.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Regional Manager of IOB, Mr R. Chandran, said the 44 branches and four extension counters of the bank in Tiruchi region had mobilised deposits to the tune of Rs 707.80 crore. The bank had extended Rs 457 crore as loans, of which Rs 206 crore was for the farm sector. All the branches in the Tiruchi region had been computerised and brought under the core banking system with 600 branches throughout the country.
