Sathguru Management Consultants (SMC) has executed an exclusive agreement for representation of Cornell Technologies in South Asia with Cornell Centre for Technology, Enterprise, and Commercialisation (CCTEC).

Accordingly, SMC would play a leading role in facilitating commercialisation of novel technologies through licensing.

Long-standing partner

The Hyderabad-based Sathguru Management has been a long-standing partner of Cornell in the South Asian region in areas like project management, executive education programmes, life sciences and hospitality management.

In a press release, Mr K. Vijayaraghavan, Founder-Director of SMC, said the agreement places Sathguru as an emerging leader in technology transfer.

`Transfer beneficial'

The technology transfer between public and private institutes would be very beneficial, he added.

The CCTEC fosters university-industry research, promotes innovation, and encourages entrepreneurship to advance the transfer of Cornell technology into the commercial market.
