The Hindu Business Line : Commodities camp in Mumbai

The camp, jointly organised by Awaaz, a leading TV channel along with the commodity exchange NCDEX and broking firm Motilal Oswal will provide a forum for retail investors and sub-brokers to gain an in-depth understanding of commodity markets, said the organisers.

Speakers at the camp include industry experts like Mr Srikant Saboo, Assistant Vice-President, Hindalco Industries; Mr Narendra Gupta, Chief, National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX); Mr Suresh Parasrampuria, Senior Vice-President and Head - Commodities, Motilal Oswal; and Mr Sanjeev Agarwal, Managing Director, World Gold Council.

The commodity trading in India has undergone a rapid change in the recent past. With the setting up of the multi commodities exchanges, the Indian market entered into a new path of rapid growth creating new business opportunities.
