Voltas ties up with Besseling Group

Mumbai, Aug. 25

The Tata Group-owned Voltas Ltd has entered in to an agreement with the Netherlands-based Besseling Group to deliver turnkey solutions for storage of horticulture produce.

The strategic partnership between the two companies would be to provide solutions for storing horticulture produce in Controlled Atmosphere (CA) and Ultra-Low-Oxygen (ULO).

Besseling Group develops and installs CA and ULO equipments necessary for long-term storage of fruits and vegetables under optimum conditions.

"The combination Besseling-Voltas offer is the best post harvest solution for long-term storage of fruits and vegetables. Shares of Voltas closed for the day at Rs 878.80, up by Rs 42.50 or 5.08 per cent on the BSE on Friday.
