Taurus launches open ended scheme

Taurus Mutual Fund has launched its first open-ended liquid scheme, which will remain open till August 31. An official statement said that the scheme would be open for continuous sale and repurchase from September 4.

There is no entry or exit load on the scheme. Besides, the entire initial issue exposure is being borne by AMC. The minimum investment is Rs 1,000; further investments have to be in multiples of Rs 1,000. The asset allocation is 0-100 per cent in the short term and in money market instruments. It has growth and dividend plans, with the later offering payout and reinvestment options. Dividends would be announced every week and would be tax-free in the hands of the investors. However, the fund will deduct dividend distribution tax for individuals, HUFs and others at different rates from the weekly dividend.
