Alliances & Joint Ventures Infotech US arm, IBM sign pact Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Aug. 30 Infotech Enterprises Ltd, through its subsidiary Infotech Enterprises America, Inc, has signed up with IBM to accelerate the deployment of product lifecycle management (PLM) and engineering solutions for the manufacturing Industry.
Combined strengths
The new agreement provides a framework to offer consulting, solutions and integration services. The combination of IBM's global manufacturing industry knowledge, large middleware portfolio and customer relationships along with Infotech's engineering and consulting engineering expertise, will enable them to offer professional consulting, solutions and PLM implementation and integration needs. The Chairman and Managing Director of Infotech, Mr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, in a statement said "this will take us closer to our vision of being a full-scale solutions provider in the engineering services space. The combined strengths will provide a compelling value proposition to customers across the globe." The Global A&D Industry Leader-IBM, Mr Jay Bellissimo, said "partnering with Infotech will allow us to mobilise expert A&D consultants and engineers with PLM skills. This will provide numerous opportunities for expanding value to clients in addressing complex PLM, supply chain, and collaborative business model requirements."
