Mr Rajkamal Rao has taken over as Member Mechanical, Railway Board from August 31. He joined the Board following the retirement of Mr R. R. Bhandari. Mr Rao belongs to the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers, 1970. Prior to this posting, he held the post of General Manager, Western Railway, said an official release. Mr Rao has also held other key posts such as Additional Member (Mechanical), Railway Board, Additional General Manager of South Central Railway, Chief Mechanical Engineer of East Coast Railway, amongst others.
