Meet on knowledge initiatives

A two-day meet of `Infovision 2006— The Knowledge Summit' is being organised here on September 28 and 29. The summit will focus on evolving directions to knowledge initiatives at both the global and regional levels.

Mr Ashok Soota, Chairman of the Summit and Chairman of CII Mission on Knowledge and Skills, said: "Given the role of the emerging knowledge economy, our ability to harness knowledge and build intellectual capital becomes a crucial endeavour for India."

Mr Soota said several speakers and panellists from international organisations would participate in the Summit for interaction on key issues that would help in building a cohesive knowledge society.
