Bangalore , Sept. 9

The India Semiconductor Association (ISA) organised a round table discussion on `Changes in semiconductor: Industrial landscape and implications for India'. The discussion was addressed by Mr Ajit Manocha, Chief Manufacturing Officer of NXP Semiconductors (formerly known as Philips Semiconductors). Many eminent industry leaders came together to participate in this discussion.

According to Mr Ajit Manocha, "The need of the hour for the industry is to work in a collaborative manner to create technologically advanced electronic products. The growing interdependence between IDMs, fabless semiconductor companies, foundries and assembly subcontractors will help address this issue and develop high quality products available at the low costs, in the shortest time.''
