New Customs chief for Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sept. 11

Ms Jasdeep V. Singh has assumed charge as the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax (Hyderabad Zone) early this month.

Ms Singh, an IRS officer of 1975 batch, has become the first woman Chief Commissioner for the zone.

Prior to her elevation, she was the Commissioner of Customs at Mangalore.
