Adobe Captivate 2 software

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Sept. 11

Adobe announced Captivate 2 software for making interactive simulations, software demonstrations and scenario-based training modules. Captivate 2 generates interactive content in Flash, without requiring users to have programming knowledge or multimedia skills. With the new version, users can utilise the complex branching scenario feature to develop specific scenarios by visually mapping out the different learning paths. The new simulation wizard in Adobe Captivate 2 helps users develop soft-skills simulations, add content to placeholder slides, and set up the branching with simple point-and-click functionality. Captivate was developed in the Bangalore development centre of Adobe. It is expected to ship later this year at an estimated price of $599.
