New banking ombudsman

Ms Suma Varma has taken charge as the Banking Ombudsman for Kerala and Lakshadweep. She was previously General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata, an official release said. Members of the public can present their grievances relating to deficiencies in the services of banks in Kerala and Lakshadweep to the office of the Banking Ombudsman located on the premises of the Reserve Bank of India in Thiruvananthapuram.
