Thiruvananthapuram , Sept. 21 Capstocks and Securities (India) Private Ltd, a financial services company, has received ISO 9001: 2000 certification. According to Mr V. Rajendran, Managing Director, Capstocks is the first stock broking company in the country to get the recognition for all stock broking and related financial services activities, including cash markets, derivatives, Internet trading, depository services, portfolio management services, equity research and analysis and mutual funds. Capstocks has memberships with National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange and is a depository participant of Central Depository Services Ltd. The company is also a SEBI-registered portfolio manager. Capstocks got the certification from United Kingdom Accreditation Services based on the assessment by Moody International through ICL Certifications Ltd, Mr Rajendran said. He said that the company spent nearly 15 months to complete the certification process. The organisational structure from top to bottom had been totally streamlined and duties and responsibilities of each and every official clearly defined. Capstocks has 60 branches across the country and an international office in Sharjah, UAE.
