Microsoft, Intel, HP and Pac Soft to aid its formation

Hyderabad , Sept. 23

A consortium comprising Microsoft Corp, Intel, Hewlett Packard and Pac Soft Solutions will help international schools across the country to form a Connected Learning Community (CLC). Powered by information technology solutions and tools, CLC would allow teachers, students and parents to get access to any-time any-place learning. The dynamic and collaborative learning ecosystem would comprise schools, homes, libraries, businesses and global resources.

IT tools and solutions

Announcing the formation of consortium, Mr Ali Sait, Director of Pac Soft Solutions, said the alliance would work with TAISI (The Association of International Schools of India), to put in place relevant IT solutions and tools. Lyceum, a connected learning solution developed by the Pac Soft, would form part of the community. Besides providing enterprise resource planning and e-governance solutions, the Lyceum offersconnected learning solution.

Many schools suffer due to lack of proper access to technology solutions. "They have been operating on raw deals that they get from assemblers and other low quality vendors," he said.
