Transport and logistics software technology company Four Soft Ltd, has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of the freight and shipping software business of FWL Technologies, UK, through its wholly owned subsidiary Four Soft UK Ltd.

Under the terms of agreement, the cumulative purchase consideration will be approximately Rs 10-12 crore based on certain performance parameters in an all-cash transaction. The acquisition includes intellectual property (IP), staff, customer contacts and business assets.

Through this acquisition, Four Soft seeks to expand into the shipping liner software business, while consolidating its coverage in the transportation and logistics vertical. The company adds teams in the UK, India, Singapore and the US to its operations.
