Welspun India net up 45 pc

Welspun India Ltd, the flagship company of the Welspun Group, has posted 44.98 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 18.34 crore (Rs 12.65 crore) for the second quarter ended September. Net sales increased 78.64 per cent to Rs 276.44 crore (Rs 154.74 crore). For the first half, net profit rose to Rs 25.86 crore (Rs 23.44 crore). EPS increased to Rs 2.45 from Rs 1.63.
