Kurush Grant elected NRSC Chairman

MR KURUSH GRANT

Chennai, Nov. 7

Mr Kurush Grant, Chief Executive, Tobacco & FMCG Division, ITC Ltd, and advertiser representative of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), has been elected as the Chairman of the National Readership Studies Council (NRSC) at the meeting of the new Governing Council of the NRSC.

Mr Grant, says a press release from the NRSC, is the immediate past Chairman of the ABC, India, the Chairman of the services sub-committee of the CII, Eastern Region, the Vice-Chairman of the Indian Society of Advertisers, and a director of on the board of King Maker Marketing, USA. He has been involved in marketing a wide range of products, including cigarettes and other FMCG products of ITC, says the release, and has been actively involved in the development of the company's new forays in FMCG as well as in garments and retailing.

The release describes Mr Grant as an "active proponent of the development of marketing sciences." The NRSC is an autonomous division of the ABC and has been constituted by the Advertising Agencies Association of India, the ABC and the Indian Newspaper Society.
