Noida Toll: Bets on merger hopes

Expectations of an early amalgamation (pending in the Allahabad Court) with its 100 per cent subsidiary DND Flyway, that would see some amount of write back, are reportedly driving interest in the stock of Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd. The stock ended 6.75 per cent higher at Rs 41.10 on the BSE in an otherwise weak market. The stock has gained almost 9 per cent over the past week.

Analysts maintain that the financial impact of the write back will be an important trigger for the company's stock. This apart, increased traffic growth along with higher toll realisation is expected to drive the company's profitability. The timely commissioning of the Mayur Vihar Link project will additionally accelerate traffic, thereby augmenting profitability.
