Management changes in TCL India

Consumer electronics firm TCL India Holdings Pvt Ltd has announced senior management changes instituted by its board of directors to focus on improving the company's structure and better decision-making. As per the management changes, Mr Richie Liu, who was the Managing Director earlier, will now become Managing Director & Chairman while Mr C.M. Singh, V-P, Sales & Marketing, will take over as the new Chief Executive Officer, TCL India Holdings Pvt Ltd, Mr Li Dongsheng, Chairman & CEO, TCL Corporation, said: "After thorough analysis, we feel that this change in the senior management will help us speed up decision and focus on key strategic issues, to expand our operations and strengthen our presence in India." TCL had recently indicated plans to set up a facility in India.
