Bakshi to head Asia operations

New Delhi , Nov. 11

PepsiCo has announced a change in the top managerial positions of its Indian operations with Mr Rajiv Bakshi, the current PepsiCo India Chief, set to relocate to Hong Kong to take over charge as the Asia Head, while Mr Sanjeev Chadha will take over as General Manager Pepsi-Cola India.

According to a company release, Mr Bakshi is slated to remain in his current role till December 31, after which he will take over charges as PepsiCo Asia's Commercial Team. He will assume a new broader role spanning PepsiCo's beverages and foods businesses across Asia, it said, adding that he will be responsible for several key functions, including business development, innovation and insights and sales capability.

Mr Bakshi had headed the India operations for five years as the company's General Manager.

Mr Sanjeev Chadha, meanwhile, has been the commercial Vice President for PepsiCo Asia.
