The Hindu Business Line : Wipro training unit bags US award

Wipro Technologies has been ranked sixth in the American Society for Training & Development list of 39 BEST Awards Program. The institute received 78 applications from seven countries for ASTD's BEST awards conferred on organisations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success through employee learning and development. Announcing this via a video conference today, Ms Jennifer Homer, Senior Director, Public Relations & Public Policy, ASTD, said, "The 2006 ASTD BEST Award winners use learning as a strategic tool and have the support of senior leaders who champion a learning culture."
