iGATE bags Radian deal

iGATE Global Solutions has bagged a three-year deal from US-based mortgage insurance provider Radian Group Inc. As per the deal, iGATE will be a strategic partner for managing Radian's application portfolio and technology infrastructure needs.

``The deal is for three years and is significant," said iGate's Vice-President Mr Krishna Nacha, without revealing the size of the deal. Further, Mr Nacha also declined to disclose the kind of resources that iGATE would allocate to service Radian.

Tracking the announcement, iGATE stock hit an intra-day high of Rs 246.15 on the BSE on Monday, before closing at Rs 240.75, a gain of 3.77 per cent over previous close.
