Mr K. B. Chandrasekhar, Chairman, Aztecsoft Ltd, has been conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Science by Anna University in recognition of his achievements in the field of information technology and his outstanding contribution to promoting research and development in India.

The Tamil Nadu Governor, Mr Surjit Singh Barnala, presented the Honour to Mr Chandrasekhar at a function in Chennai recently. Tamil Nadu Minister for Higher Education and Vice-Chancellor, Dr D Vishwanathan, of Anna University were also present at the occasion. Mr Chandrasekhar is an alumnus of the the university.

Mr Chandrasekhar co-founded three companies: e4e Inc, a global technology holding company, Jamcracker Inc, an on-demand software company and Exodus Communications Inc Apart from Aztecsoft Ltd, he is also the Chairman of these three companies.
