Promantra Synergy Solutions, a US-based business process outsourcing company focusing on healthcare services, has announced plans to expand operations, which would include the addition of a new centre in Visakhapatnam.

The Vizag centre would go on stream in first quarter of 2007 with about 200 people. The Chief Executive Officer of Promantra, Dr Praveen Vadlamudi, told Business Line that the company plans to recruit both at Hyderabad and for the new facility at Visakhapatnam and together they expect to ramp up headcount from 325 to about 1,200 people by December 2007.
