RINL staff aid for flood relief

Visakhapatnam, Nov. 17

The employees of the Visakhapatnam steel plant (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd) have donated Rs 92,35,276 to the Chief Minister's relief fund for providing succour to the affected people due to heavy rains in the coastal districts of Prakasam, Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari earlier this month.

On behalf of the staff, Mr Y. Sivasagara Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, handed over the cheque to Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Chief Minister, in Hyderabad on Friday. Mr K.A Naidu, Director (Personnel), and representatives of various trade unions were present on the occasion.
