LabVIEW latest version launched

Asia, at 30 per cent, is growing faster than the US or Europe for National Instruments, a measurement and automation company.

At the launch of the latest version of NI's flagship product for designing chips, LabVIEW 8.20, Mr John Graff, NI Vice-President of Marketing and Customer Operations, said, "LabVIEW is software that allows an engineer to perform various complicated tasks that previously required knowledge of programming languages. And as "engineers are not computer scientists" as Mr Graff puts it, such software simplify work.
