JRG ties up with Financial Technologies


The system allows the investor to get connected using their mobile handsets and see market rates, enter/modify/cancel orders, view their positions through a secure encrypted channel.

JRG has launched mobile trading in commodity futures at the Dubai Gold and Commodity Exchange (DGCX).

The trading platform was inaugurated during the JRG Commodities Summit that was organised in Dubai last Saturday.

JRG has entered into an exclusive tie up with Financial Technologies Middle East for providing the M-Trade facility to the global investing public. Over 500 participants attended the summit.

Mobile trading

Mr Jignesh Shah, Vice-Chairman of DGCX and founder of Financial Technologies launched UAE's first mobile trading platform in DGCX, a press release from JRG said. The summit also held an exclusive mock trading session for investors to experience trading in on-line commodity futures. Investors were also trained on how to conduct trades in gold, fuel oil and silver.

Addressing a press conference, the JRG Managing Director, Mr Regi Jacob, said: "Wireless Internet is technologically the most effective platform to trade in commodity futures. We are happy that JRG is the first brokerage company to launch the mobile trading platform in the UAE.

We are proud that we are going to provide cutting edge technology through an international commodity exchange platform to the investing public."

The system allows the investor to get connected using their mobile handsets and see the market rates, enter/modify/cancel orders, view their positions through a secure encrypted channel.

"Mobile trading technology will be very helpful to the business class investors as well as anyone who owns a mobile phone to enter into trading in global commodities," said Mr Giby Mathew, Executive Director of JRG.

Major player

Financial Technologies, a major player in the commodity futures and capital market trading software provider in India and West Asia has developed the `I-Win' wireless technology in association with Nokia mobiles for mobile trade.

Mr Framroze Pochara, CEO of DGCX, Mr Amer Musa Al Jaghbeer, Director and Legal Registrar of Dubai Multi Commodities and Mr Arshad Khan, Director of Financial Technologies Middle East participated in the summit.
